Why Are We Here?

Some police officers and departments in the US have acted in ways that fail to carry out the duties to protect and serve communities and their members. Specifically, the unjustified killings by police have been a major contributor to the marginalization and debasement of many people and groups.

Sr. Consultant, R. Dale Thomas is highly skilled in criminal justice and brings more than 25 years of experience in law enforcement, military service, and homeland security. He has a proven track record of successful execution of all statement of work (SOW) phases, program and contract management, and profitable investigations with exceptional interpersonal communication. R. Dale Thomas has a strong reputation for exhibiting a history of sound decision making, accountability, and outstanding work ethic.

Some of his key accomplishments include:

• Provided leadership to over 500 security officers at over 80 sites during national emergency in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. Based on performance, Federal Protective Services re-awarded contract for 3-year period.
• Executed a successful deployment of over ninety officers from Louisiana to Beaumont, Texas within three days following Hurricanes Gustav and Ike to stabilize and secure life and property until recovery.
• Demonstrated exemplary leadership skills and thereby promoted to supervise Navy staff of higher rank.
• Awarded Police Officer of the Year by University of Louisiana at Monroe (ULM).

R. Dale Thomas holds a Bachelor of Arts, Liberal Arts from the University of New York and an Associates of Arts Degree, Law Enforcement from Grambling State University.

He holds certifications from several organizations and professional affiliations.
